On the 25th November 2016, the annual China Hospitality Purchase and Supply Summit was held in Su Zhou, China, hosted by the China Hotel Procurement and Supply Association. The purpose of the meeting was to explore the brand values of various companies that supply to hotels, of which Williams Refrigeration was one. Branding and brand values, as we know, are important factors in the sales funnel. A consistent and quality brand that buyers recognise time and time again can really aid that purchasing decision and set you apart from competitors.
In a rigorous process whereby well-known international hotel groups such as InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Hilton Worldwide, AccorHotel and Wyndham Hotel Group are interviewed and procurement data is analysed. The resulting research report was divided into 18 categories, more than 180 suppliers and more than 50 agents. The data has covered 125 cities, 518 counties and more than 56,000 hotels
Williams was honored to be ranked in first place in the ‘China Hotel Commercial Refrigeration Supplier Brand Value 2016 Award’ and third place in the ‘China Hotel Refrigeration Equipment Brand Value 2016 Award’ (first and second place were awarded to ice machine brands). Williams was also ranked as the fifth in the ‘China Hotel Kitchen Appliances Brand Value 2016 Award’ and 29th out of 100 for ‘‘China Hotel Procurement Supplier Brand Value 2016 Award’.
