Williams’ commitment to food safety production

Williams China production plant has again been successful in its annual audit check for ISO22000:2005 (Food Safety Management) certification.

Williams Refrigeration is proud to announce that its China production plant has again been successful in its annual audit check for ISO22000:2005 (Food Safety Management) certification, showing Williams continual commitment to food safety production and to its customers.

The award of this prestigious international standard to its China production plant reflects Williams’ global outlook - that such food safety initiatives are not restricted to UK production, but also applies to its China and Australia production plants. The certification covers Williams’ approved suppliers, its manufacturing materials (including packaging) and production processes, including the cleaning process prior to leaving the factory, ensuring no hazardous or volatile substances are used.

Williams equipment is also compliant with CCC (China Compulsory Certificate) and QS (China Quality and Safety mark), which guarantee the electrical and food safety of its products are also achieving Chinese National Standards (CNS). Its products also achieved SASO (Saudi Arabian Standard Organization Certificate) and KC (Korea Certification) for the Middle East and Korean markets. They further ensure Williams’ refrigeration equipment adheres to international safety standards.

Williams China and Australia production plants have also achieved further prestigious international standard certifications, including ISO9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO14001:2004 (Environment Management System) and OHSAS18001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System). These achievements are in line with Williams UK and form part of Williams Global Common Management Approach.
